How it works
There’s no cover charge. Walk in through the restaurant and you’re on the sand; there’s also a public path by the Oceanview Pavilion for the adjacent stretch. Lounge chairs and umbrellas rent on the spot, groups can book the cabana row for full table-service beach days, and the kitchen and bars are close enough that lunch arrives before your feet dry. Should you swim here?
Sure — the water’s the same Atlantic as everywhere else. But be honest about what you’re choosing: this is the island’s highest-density beach, with a soundtrack. Families do fine here in the morning hours before the afternoon crowd builds. If your ideal beach involves a paperback and silence, walk fifteen minutes north up Crescent Beach and everyone gets what they want.
